FRIEND

                                           FRIEND

This is a poem on friend and is a sonnet. A sonnet is a poem of 14 lines.

 A friend is one,
who has always won
our heart,
by not only being smart.
But, also by being caring
and sharing.

A friend in deed,
is a friend indeed.
A true friend,
can always mend,
our sadness
and madness.

Life is incomplete
without a true friend.

to your elders.

Greet ypur elders everyday,
Never say noway,
when you have to obay,
your Elders.

Respecting elders,

shows our habits
It doesn't make our elders only happy,
but ourselves too.

Poem on SAVE ELECTRICITY

Save electricity for god sake!
It is precious.
It is not fake,
Instead it is glorious!

Without electricity,
There are no lights,
There is gonna be no happy city!
And there will be only fights!

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi became one of the pivotal figures, if not the main figure, in India's history in the Twentieth Century. Along with Jinnah and Nehru, Gandhi shaped India's history up to its independence in 1947.
Mahatma Gandhi was born in 1869 and he died in 1948.
Gandhi was born in Porbander in western India. In 1888, he went to London to study law. He returned to Bombay to work as a barrister but went to South Africa to work in 1907. In South Africa, he took part in passive protests against the Transvaal government's treatment of Indian settlers who were in the minority in the region. In 1915, he returned to India and, after joining the Congress movement, he emerged as one of the party's leaders.

The Poem of 'Books'!!!

Books oh books,
You have many looks.
 Your covers,
Makes people your lovers.

You are our friends,
Like colourful trends
If today I gain success,
It because of the process,
Of reading books.

Thankyou BOOKS!
